Meet the Staton Family

We're the Staton family — first-generation farmers with a passion for homesteading and a dream of building something meaningful from the ground up. High school sweethearts married in 2018, we started Duck Butter Farm in 2020 with a simple goal: raise our kids with strong values, teach them where their food comes from, and create a legacy they'll be proud to carry on.

Life here is full and often a little chaotic. We both work full-time off the farm — Heather as a nurse and nursing instructor, Gage in a local factory — while pouring our hearts into the farm in every spare moment. Somehow, it all stays afloat.

This farm is more than a business to us — it's a way of life rooted in hard work, family, and providing food we feel good about sharing with our community.
